Amarapura
Situated about 11 km S of Mandalay. Interest place are Patodawgyi Pagoda, U Bein Bridge, silk and cotton weaving and Mahagandayon Monastery.

Ava ( Inwa )
Lies 20 km SW of Mandalay and founded in 1364; remain capital for 5 years. To access the visit in Ava is by pony cart. The interested place to visit are Nanmyint Watch Tower, Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monestary, and Bagaya Monestary.

Bagan
The most touristique site in Myanmar, situated on the eastern bank of Ayeyarwaddy River, Bagan covers 42 sq.kilo metres. Famous for its unique lacquer.


Bago ( Pegu )
Situated only 80 km from Tangon, has been capital of Mon in 15th century. Points of interest are Shwethalyaung reclining Bouddha, Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, Kalyani Sima Ordination Hall, Bago Market and Pottery.

Bhamo
Situated beside the Ayeyarwaddy on the way to Myintkyina, a colourful town of river boats with unique mixture of tribes.

Heho
The airport of Southern Shan State where by the interested sites are situated as Taunggyi, Inlay Lake and Pindaya.

Inlay Lake
The principle attraction in Shan Plateau, situated 900 metre above sea level.It is well known for its floating villages and gardens, traditional handicrafts and silk weaving, colourful markets and the native Intha legged rowers and its festival during September/ October each year.

Kalaw
A 70 km a l'ouest de Taunggyi, charmante petite station climatique avec des forets de pins, 1400 metre au dessus du niveau de la mer.

Kak Ku
A unique temple complex of more than 2000 Stupas has lied hidden in the Pa-O heartland of Southern Shan State for centuries. Unknown to the outside world and to most of Myanmar unit recently, these exquisite monuments can now be visited. A day trip from Inlay Lake is sufficient.

The Mergui Archipelago

Kyaikhtiyo
This mystical pagoda stands on a gold gilded boulder, precariously perched on the edge of the hill over 1100km above sea-level. Kyaikhtiyo, the town at the foot of the hill, is about 160km from Yangon. It is an 11km up-hill climb for the hikers from Kinpun base cump. There is also a steep winding road for 4-wheel drive cars from the base nearest point of the pagoda. There are many legends about the pagoda and the 'nats'or 'sprits' . kyaikhto Hotel and Golden Rock Hotel have modern facilities for tourists.
